HIGH TRANSITION
Alternative Rock
HIGH TRANSITION, a power trio from Salzburg, originally formed as a quartet in 2013, found their true heavy rock style during an extensive European tour in 2017. They have since performed over 150 live shows across Europe, sharing stages with artists like Mother’s Cake, Krautschädl, Stöner, and DeWolff. Their debut album, "Faunistic Daydreams," released in 2020 with IAM Records, captures their evolved sound. The next chapter for High Transition, marked by the single release "Space Deville" in 2024, showcases a conceptual shift in songwriting towards a more ethereal, space-themed sound. This evolution led to the band’s new sonic upgrade: heavy space rock, characterized by deep dives into the worlds of synthesizers and beyond.

Faunistic Daydream (2020)
the debut album, tackles humanity's lack of empathy towards the environment through metaphorical animal stories. The critique is loud and aggressive, harshly condemning human behaviour, while acknowledging the self-implication of the critique. Despite its pessimistic tone, the album ends on an optimistic yet realistic note. Beginning with a nightmare ("Faunistic Nightmares"), it ultimately transitions to a redemptive daydream – "Faunistic Daydreams".
